Exercise Physiologist, Adult, Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation and Cancer Rehabilitation

Natalie has specialized in adult fitness for 10 years and received her degree in Exercise Science in 2003 from Colorado State University. She received her Clinical Exercise Specialist certification and Cancer Exercise Trainer certification from the American College of Sports Medicine. Natalie enjoys educating and motivating adults to adopt a safe and effective exercise program.

Jessica received her bachelor's degree in Kinesiology in 2000 from University of Northern Colorado and has been working in a clinical setting since 2000. She is certified as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist and is certified through the American College of Sports Medicine as a Clinical Exercise Specialist and a Cancer Exercise Trainer.

Respiratory Therapist, Pulmonary Rehabilitation

Felice has been a Registered Respiratory Therapist for more than 18 years and has been working in pulmonary rehabilitation for 16 years. She has Pulmonary Function Testing and Clinical Research certifications and attended the Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Educator program from the American Association of Respiratory Care. Felice likes empowering people with tools they can use to manage their disease and prevent it from overtaking their lives.

Carol has been in the nursing field since 1977 and received her bachelor's degree in 1991. She has worked in a wide variety of nursing capacities with a focus in cardiac, intensive care, and emergency medicine. Due to her passion for cardiology she began working in cardiopulmonary rehabilitation in 1995. Carol supports a holistic and family-oriented approach to rehabilitation through medical and exercise expertise, education and psychology and social support. She enjoys helping people improve their quality of life by managing illness.

Jennifer received her master's degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in 2000. She has extensive experience in outpatient physical therapy. Jennifer specializes in orthopedics, sports physical therapy, post-operative rehabilitation, work-injury rehabilitation, spine and extremity injuries. She also has an orthotics certification.

Jennifer gained physical therapy experience in multiple settings including hospital acute care, neurological rehabilitation, home healthcare and outpatient orthopedics. She has been helping people reach their individualized therapy goals since graduating with master's degree from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center 20 years ago.

Lora has a master's degree in Physical Therapy from Concordia University. She has been a certified Massage Therapist for more than 25 years. Her career has taken her through a variety of settings from hospital acute care to outpatient orthopedics. Lora specializes in therapy for chronic pain management using manual therapy and modalities. She is also skilled in treating patients with vestibular and neurological issues.

Katie earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Regis University in 2008. She has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She joined the Health and Healing Center at Good Samaritan Medical Center in 2012. Katie is experienced in working with patients with both orthopedic and neurological issues. She is also a certified Lymphedema Therapist and has education and training in breast cancer rehabilitation.

Camma has close to 30 years of experience as an occupational therapist, addressing the client's individual needs and improving function in the home, work, and community settings. She has extensive experience in the areas of functional cognitive retraining, neuromuscular reeducation, ocular motor exercise, managing pain with daily activities and injury prevention in the workplace. Camma enjoys integrating her skills and experience to treat clients of diverse levels of functioning and diagnoses.

Speech Therapy

Holly Kleiber, MS CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist, Adult, Neurological Rehabilitation, Dysphagia, Dysarthria, Aphasia, Cognition

Holly completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Iowa and received her master's degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of Washington. Holly's specialties include treating swallowing, speech and cognitive problems resulting from neurologic conditions, and head and neck cancer. Holly is a member of the American Speech Hearing Language Association and is certified in Lee Silverman Voice Treatment and the McNeill Dysphagia Therapy program.

Lisa completed her undergraduate degree at Truman State University and received her master's degree in Communication Disorders from Southern Illinois University. She has practiced in the field for more than 20 years. Lisa's specialties include treating swallowing, speech, and cognitive problems resulting for neurological conditions as well as head and neck cancer. Lisa also treats patients with various types of voice problems.

Acupuncture

LandrumShayanShayan Landrum, MS, Diplomate of Chinese Medicine
Shayan has a natural gift for understanding the intricacies of human health and finding the delicate balance that brings about wellness. She completed postgraduate internships in Chengdu, China in internal medicine, gastroenterology, pediatrics, and oncology, and she volunteered as an acupuncturist in Tibetan refugee camps in India.

With an extensive background in western sciences and eastern medicine, she has lectured and taught, including at the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Shayan worked for more than three years as a staff acupuncturist at Good Samaritan Medical Center. Additionally, she is a yoga therapist and teaches cardiac yoga and restorative yoga. Shayan is astute in meeting people where they are and lending a hand to guide them back to health.

Sheila is a licensed acupuncturist and board certified Chinese herbalist. Aside from her private practice over the years, she teaches seminars to other practitioners. She has also organized and launched temporary emergency volunteer clinics for the Boulder community. These offered free health services by local practitioners to relieve stress, depression, insomnia, and physical ailments during the Four-Mile Fire in 2010 and the devastating floods along the Front Range in 2013. Sheila has completed specialized internships in pain management, homeopathy, and emotional wellness. She offers a blend of acupuncture, herbal medicine, and nutritional guidance to promote self-empowerment, optimal physical and emotional health.

Massage and Healing Touch

Integrative Care Nurse, Healing Touch Certified Practitioner and Instructor

Nicole is a nurse with a background in psychology, holistic medicine, and is a certified Healing Touch Instructor since the mid 90s. Nicole facilitates her clients' journey toward holistic health through Healing Touch and wellness counseling. She is the director of the North Front Range Healing Touch Clinic, which supports Healing Touch students in their apprenticeships while providing Healing Touch to the community. Nicole offers Healing Touch classes for couples dealing with cancer. She has been part of the integrative care team at Good Samaritan Medical Center since 2005.

Scott is from Detroit and has been practicing massage therapy full time for more than 20 years. He lived and went to school in south Florida before moving to Colorado in 2001. Scott is a nationally-certified and licensed Massage Therapist who has concentrated on therapeutic and rehabilitation massage for the last 13 years of his practice. He also works with automobile injury and workers compensation clients. Formerly, Scott ran his own chair massage business and developed a pet massage therapy program.


Laurie Boyer, BA, NCTMB
Massage Therapist, Myofascial Release, Lymphatic Drainage,Thai, Prenatal, and Postpartum Massage, Childbirth Educator, and Doula

Laurie has been working in the healthcare field for more than 20 years. She graduated with honors from the Boulder College of Massage Therapy's program with a specialty in prenatal and postpartum massage. Her training also includes Swedish massage, neuromuscular therapy and myofascial release, Thai massage, and lymphatic drainage massage. She teaches childbirth education classes and assists couples at birth as a labor doula. Laurie creates a relaxing, non-judgmental atmosphere for clients to explore avenues for achieving wellness.

Oncology Massage and Manual Lymph Drainage

Ilyse brings 30 years of massage experience to her intuitive, focused, and nurturing massage. Her training includes Swedish massage, myofascial release, acupressure, Reiki, reflexology, Rosen Method, and zero balancing. She specializes in oncology massage and is a certified Manual Lymph Drainage Therapist. Ilyse provides gentle, comfort-oriented massage, combining western and eastern bodywork techniques, to support people at any stage of the cancer journey.



GallowayNatashaNatasha Galloway

Natasha attended Graceland University in Iowa where she graduated summa cum laude. With her ultimate goal of becoming a massage therapist, she studied wellness program management and health. Natasha then graduated with honors from Boulder College of Massage Therapy (BCMT) in 2007. After that, she earned a specialty in prenatal, laboring, postpartum and infant massage. Natasha not only enjoys working in her specialty area, but also in deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and sports massage.



IvankovichJessieJessie Ivankovich, AOS, LMT, CIMI, CYI

Jessie's interest in physical and mental balance started with the practice of martial arts, yoga, and modern dance. This encouraged her to pursue massage therapy. She graduated from the Boulder College of Massage Therapy as a certified Massage Therapist with an associate's degree in Occupational Studies in Massage Therapy, including prenatal, postnatal, and medical massage, normalization of soft tissue and Zen Shiatsu. Jessie is also certified in Orthopedic and Sports Massage and is a certified Infant Massage Instructor. She has been practicing since 2001. Jessie has been teaching Hatha yoga, and modified Hatha yoga for pregnant women—along with mom and baby yoga since 2008. Her professional experience teaching yoga involves private lesson, mother support groups, and group studio classes.

Lara Alexander, LMT

Lara's studies began with a bachelor's degree in Psychology back in 1992. She later traveled to Albuquerque, NM, to get her massage therapy license in 1995. Lara had the pleasure of teaching Swedish massage at the New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics and Boulder College of Massage Therapy from 1996 to 2013. Over the years, Lara has taken many electives and integrates them all to create a unique session dependent on the client's needs. Her specialties include Swedish massage, deep tissue, integrative massage, prenatal and postnatal massage as well as craniosacral therapy.

Nutrition

PalazzoloLauraLaura P Kraus MS, RDN

Laura has a bachelor's degree in Neuroscience and a master's degree in Nutrition from Bastyr University, the leading natural health university in the United States. In addition, she is a Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist. Laura helps guide clients to their optimal health using the power of real food. She has particular interests in gastrointestinal disorders, autoimmune disorders, food allergies, skin disorders, energy support and whole foods cooking.

Yoga
