How We Are Different
Good Samaritan Medical Center was one of the first hospitals in the state to earn Chest Pain Center accreditation. This ensures our hospital meets quality measures that improve the care we provide to patients who suffer from coronary artery diseases.
Our cardiovascular services at Good Samaritan Medical Center feature some of the most leading technology in the country.
We have a chest pain observation unit and three state-of-the-art catheterization labs used to evaluate the heart's chambers, valves and overall function. In addition, our electrophysiology lab allows us to intervene with patients who have abnormal heart rhythms. Our center was designed with a pre- and post- observation unit that provides a central location for patients to prepare for and recover from invasive cardiac procedures.
Our electrophysiology (EP) lab is the newest lab in the county and only the second EP lab in the north metropolitan area. It includes:
- A robotic X-ray system
- Latest 3D mapping technology
- Peripheral vascular diagnostic and interventional treatments
Our cardiovascular services include a highly-skilled team specially trained in and dedicated to the best diagnostic, interventional, and rehabilitation services for your heart. All test results are read by a physician specializing in cardiology or vascular studies.
