Acupuncture

Acupuncture is the insertion of very fine, thread-like needles into the skin at specific points on the body in order to affect the flow of vital energy and restore health. These points have been mapped by the Chinese over a period of 2,000 years.

Traditional acupuncture is based on ancient Chinese theories of the flow of energy (Qi) and blood (Xue) through distinct meridians. Meridians are pathways that cover the body in much the same way as nerves and blood vessels cover the body. Acupuncture regulates and restores the harmonious energetic balance of the body.
