Exempla Good Samaritan Medical Center changes signage
September 03, 2014
Lafayette, Colo. – Sept. 3, 2014 – New signs are being installed at Good Samaritan Medical Center to reflect its new brand identity. Under the new brand, the medical center will be referred to without the Exempla name. In July of this year, SCL Health (the parent company) announced it would retire the “Exempla” name associated with its three Denver area hospitals.
The new logo and signage incorporates the SCL Health logo along with blue and green brand colors:
- The cross honors our rich heritage and shared mission.
- The heart reflects our passion, compassion and focus on delivering person-centered care.
- The two colors represent the partnership and unity that has been created by the two hospital systems.
“This is more than a name change and a new sign for our hospital,” said Dave Hamm, Good Samaritan Medical Center president and CEO. “This change represents our connection to a larger, unified healthcare system and reinforces our commitment as Good Samaritans to the communities we serve.”
Under the new brand, Denver area hospitals will continue to be known and referred to by their names without the Exempla name and logo in front. They will also bear the SCL Health logo and blue and green brand colors. Clinical practices in the Exempla Physician Network, which is home to some 200 doctors and 45 clinics, will be known as SCL Physicians.
